Momo Daud is a Pakistani-Canadian film producer, director and writer. He worked in the camera department on 40+ shorts and features before making a leap into producing, with his extensive technical knowledge making him a highly versatile producer.
Momo has since produced several shorts that have screened at Canadian and international festivals, including his directorial debut RUBY (2021), winner of the NFB Canadian Filmmaker Completion Award at the Regent Park Film Festival. Throughout 2019, Momo produced four CFC Writers’ Lab shorts alongside producer Lisa Benedetto (WORKIN’ MOMS). He has also served as production coordinator and production manager on independent features and movie-of-the-weeks. His recent feature PM credits include THE ART OF CHRISTMAS (2022) and SUPER ICYCLONE (2023). In 2023, Momo produced the upcoming feature film HIS FATHER'S SON, which received funding from Telefilm Canada's Talent to Watch program. |
